St. Joseph’s F C Convent  Kakkoly - 1975

St. Joseph’s Convent  Kakkoly was started as a branch of the Bharananganam convent close to the Bharananganam convent.    

To foster unity, love and understanding among the members of the Congregation it was decided in the General Chapter that the number of the members in a convent should be limited and that it should not exceed 40. As a result, Bharananganam convent which was blessed with a number of members was split and 24 sisters were transferred to Kakkoly. The new Kakkoly convent was blessed on 19th May 1976.
