1. Aruvithura Ananda Bhavan (1969)

To fulfill the motto of FCC-taking care of the orphans-, Assisi Bhavan of AlphonsaJyothi Province accommodated 12 orphans in the convent from 1969 onwards. On 4^th January 1969, this orphanage was called ‘Ananda Bhavan’. A new orphanage was built in the 1.85-hectare land donated by KuruvachanKallankatt father of Sr. AnittKallankatt. It was blessed on 27^th September 1976. Again the orphanage was renovated and blessed on 18^th July 2008.

There are 4 full-time sisters taking ... care of the girls. They dedicate their whole lives for the children in giving them proper education and vocational training for a better future. Thus the sisters help in the spiritual, psychological and social growth of the children. 10 of them embraced religious life and others are settled in their lives.
