Malayinchippara St. Joseph’s F.C. convent - 1952

As per the desire of the parishioners the Vicar Rev. Fr. Francis Kodukanadi talked to Rev. Mother Mary Ursula Mother General of the Franciscan Clarist Congregation, about starting a convent in Malayinchippara.  They offered the plot and other assistance for it. Accordingly, a temporary convent was started on 1st June 1952 at Malayinchippara.  

The new convent was constructed and blessed on  19th or  9th   May 1954.
