 Pachickal Assisi Mount Convent - 1981

To see to the agricultural needs of the land of Maniamkunnu property which extended to Pachickal and for evangelization purposes sisters of Maniamkunnu convent started living in  Pachickal in the year 1972. But to attend Holy Mass, sisters had to daily cross the watercourse and walk a long distance. During monsoon, it was impossible for them to cross the river. So they thought of a chapel and a convent.  

Thus Assisi Mount convent was blessed on 11th August 1981 at  Pachickal by Rev. Fr. Thomas Vallavankott,  Vicar Peringulam church.
