Convent in Detail

 Maniamkulam, St. Joseph’s F.C. Convent  - 1953 

Sri. K J Kurian Kallivayalil donated the LP School under his management to the Maniamkunnu convent. So the sisters of the Maniamkunnu convent started teaching in this school living in a shed in Maniamkulam on 21st June 1953. Sri. Ittiyavira Kallivayalil donated 6 acres of land and financial aid to build a convent to the sisters. So a convent was built within no time and the sisters started living in this new convent on 1st March 1955.
