Thidanadu F.C. Convent Clara Nagar
For the holistic development of the Province, importance was given to one of the facets of our FCC charism: caring of the poor. To accomplish it, the old age home that functioned along with the St. Joseph’s FC Convent Thidanad was shifted to the building of Ayalooparambil Devasia in the Erattupetta Kanjirappally route. With the added number of sisters, a new convent was built and blessed by Msgr. Philip Njaralakatt on 11th April 2002. From 1995 onwards both houses used to enjoy the services of a resident chaplain.
Moreover, Clara Nagar was expanded with more rooms and facilities to accommodate the aged and sick sisters of the province. The new building was blessed by Mar Joseph Kallarangatt bishop of Palai on 12th August 2012. Now ClaraNagar campus has Mercy Home, Kolbe Hospice and Clara Nagar Convent inside it.
