Poonjar Perpetual Help Clarist Convent - 1951

Due to lack of place and facilities the school which was functioning under  the Maniyamkunnu convent was shifted to the school building of the Poonjar church. It became difficult for the sisters to travel long from Maniamkunnu to Poonjar daily for their apostolate. Accordingly, a convent was started in the church building in 1951. 

The new convent was blessed on 19th March 1961.
