Bethlehem Clarist Convent  1966 - Poonjar Thekkekkara 

CMI fathers sought the help of Maniyamkunnu convent for sisters to teach in the Poonjar CMI School. So the sisters were sent. But it was found really difficult for the sisters to walk all the way daily up and down to Poonjar school from Poonjar North convent. Hence the need arose to start a convent at Poonjar Thekkekkara. Thus the Bethlehem convent was opened on 6th January 1966.
