A pious Sister Koletha, an FCC, was allowed to touch and control earthly life by the divine spirit of the higher heavens. The nun Sukritinikoletta is the one who determined the forms of life in Maniamkunn's Clara Math. Kolethamma is reminding us that human limitations can be used to step up to divine heights.
Koletamma is the one who is in harmony with the divine plan that arranges everything for good. Born on March 13, 1904 in Cherpunkal Arampulikal family home, Maryam brought up her four siblings after her mother's death by instilling her mother's love. Koletamma is a great mother to siblings, children and their grandchildren. Taking on the burden of the family after her mother's death, Maryam completed her stunted studies, passed the VSLC examination at the age of 21, qualified as a primary school teacher and worked for a short time at St. Joseph's School, Wakamala. In 1932, Maryam, who was appointed as a teacher at Maniamkunnu School, lived with the sisters of Arampulikale Claramath. Being with those who live fervently with sannyasa dedication - the wonderful lives of those who are happy and content in poverty - is an opportunity to see up close. Their ministering attitude, devout prayer, mutual love and sacrificial life were all attractive. Filled with the desire to share in her efforts to imitate the humble Lord, Mariam became a novice nun and took the new name on September 11, 1933. Gwalat - People's victory. Sahana, who lived in the 13th century, took the name of her daughter and became Koletamma. In 1938 he took up the daily fast. Completed teacher training and passed TTC in 1941. Along with teaching, Koletamma became active as a teacher of the new sannyasins.
Koletamma's life since 1942 has been full of the tragedy of unpleasantness intruding into the peaceful ascetic bliss. Constant sneezing, shortness of breath, cramps, fever and cough became a part of that life. All the possible treatments were taken during the period but there was no cure. When the disease was diagnosed as infectious tuberculosis, it was decided to move Amma from the monastery. With the help of benefactors, at first Koletamma lived alone in the Nedunganakunnel homestead belonging to the East gardeners and from 44 onwards in the Chirakkal house near the church. Koletamma was settled at Mangatutha, which is one and a half kilometers away from Idavakapalli. In 1952, the mother was a recluse until she purchased the Panamkulam homestead and invested in the sick house. Koletamma's life shines through the story of loneliness, alienation, isolation and internal pains into a great internal epic.
Loneliness is the most tragic condition that life throws at humans. Loneliness can be frightening for those who are part of a society full of opportunities for happiness. The evil spirits of loneliness invade and subjugate regardless of space and time. The sense of "I'm the victim" of those who are lonely for reasons not their own is tormenting. The life of a recluse is all the suffering, suffering, pain, excitement, bewilderment, terror, excitement and wonder that one person has drunk. Koletamma is an expert in the wonders of solitude.
Koletamma realized that the shadow of God's plan (Romans 8/28) that evolves everything for good fell into her life in the form of loneliness, and sweetened her own birth by seeing it as God's ways. Years of isolation were added to the loneliness that surrounded the life of Jesus the bridegroom. In that way, I realized and realized with life that I am a lover of Jesus and called according to His plan. She was determined to fill her life with divinity and beauty without complaints and bitterness and to be a bride-worthy Kanthimathi. Because the mother knew that everything that comes from God's blessings is for good.
Koletamma also understood the process by which God evolves everything for good. God has predestined those who love God and are called by His plan to be conformed to the likeness of His Son. The mother realized that in God's foreknowledge and sure plan, the loneliness, abandonment, emptiness and dryness that resembled Christ were attacking her. So Amma turned loneliness and its consequences into moments of deep divine love.
It is hard to live in solitude away from everyone; It is difficult to stay away from love and affection. Daily V. How painful it is for a nun to have no Mass! Koletamma found comfort in the chest of Divyanathan. He consoled him with Jesus who was a prison inmate and took comfort from him in his loneliness. The estrangement from her sisters did not make Koletamma unhappy. Everyone needs safety. Distance from him will keep them safe. Lives are possible even if contacts and facilities are limited. The limitations of the expression of love filled Amma with the flame of God's love. Her mother's face, full of loneliness and happiness, had an impact on the sisters. 'I am not alone here. Jesus is with me; in my heart
Koletamma was always cheerful. Not old enough to judge or blame. Sisters, neighbors and acquaintances alike testify. Kolethamma had a short sentence to sum it all up for someone who experienced the pains of the disease both externally and internally. 'This is no one's fault, it is God's will for me.' Kolethamma ended the conversation with these words. They were words full of peace of mind, humility and faith. Hon. Kasianos C.M.I. All the experiences of life were heartened by the mother as she was made to confess and strengthened by giving little advices; Accepted.
From 1952 onwards, he lived with his brothers in Deenamuri. The mother who walks across the yard praying with beads in her hands, the Koletamma who steps in to weed the yard and beautify the yard, are familiar to the locals and the sisters. Mother supported all those who came to her simple mother begging for help through her prayers. She who was insignificant intercedes for God's people in a significant way through her prayers.
Know life, recognize life experiences, live with awareness. Place the essence of life in the hands of the Supreme. Do not stray from the shadow of divine hands hidden in human limitations. Koletamma proved with her life that this is the only life. To get closer to the life that has been revealed, on the death day of the holy Koletamma, you can reach the grave of Maniamkun.
