School & Rehabilitation Centre for Differently Abled Children 

 Deepthi DCMR School was started on 11th December 1989 with 8 children for training and rehabilitation of differently abled children. Children from two and a half years to 44 years old are studying here now. 26 persons are serving here as teaching and non-teaching staff. Till date 521 children have been trained in this school. Some of these children are self-employed and earn their own income (autodriving, welding, tailoring, etc.). Doctors come once a month and medical checkup is ... available for students. There is separate boarding facility for boys and girls here. 52 children are staying and receiving training in Boarding.

              Classes are divided into care group, pre-primary, primary, secondary, pre-vocational and vocational according to students' IQ level and chronological age. Vocational training is provided to children above 18 years of age - candle making, soap powder, liquid soap, lotion, tailoring and embroidery work, crown and bouquet for first holy communion reception, Rosary, ornaments, vegetable garden, garden making, ornamental fish rearing, kitchen work, fish farming Training is provided for these.

Individualized education, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and vojta therapy are provided to the students as per their requirement. Also, there are early intervention and multisensory classes for children under 4 years of age.
