Evangelization

The Evangelization Ministry of our religious congregation focuses on spreading the Gospel and sharing the message of Christianity with others. This ministry is dedicated to outreach, discipleship, and fostering spiritual growth both within and outside the congregation.

Renewal Centre: Direct Evangelization is done through various retreats and other spiritually enriching programmes conducted by our Alphonsa Renewal Centre at Ramapuram. Based on the great commission 'Go and preach the Gospel to all creation' (Mk 16:15), ARC Retreat Centre was started with the intention of sharing in the sufferings of God's people and raising a generation of faith. This centre offers various services for priests, religious, families, children, and the elderly. Additionally, counselling and midday prayer services are held every day. Sr. Mercin Mathew FCC leads this initiative.

Another factor is our Missionary zeal. We work among the people of South Africa & Arunachalpradesh.

Key Aspects of our Evangelization ministry include:

Outreach Programmes: Organizing events and activities to reach people with spiritual needs. This may include street evangelization, community events, and door-to-door outreach.

Mission Trips: Sending mission teams to different regions or countries to share the Gospel, support local churches, and engage in humanitarian efforts.

Discipleship Training: Providing programmes and resources to help new and existing believers grow in their faith, understand biblical teachings, and develop a deeper relationship with Christ.

Media and Technology: Utilizing various media platforms, including social media, like Youtube, television, and websites, to disseminate the message of the Gospel and reach a broader audience.

Community Engagement: Building relationships within the community through service projects, partnerships with local organizations, and hosting community events that reflect Christian values. This include Seminars on the spirituality of St. Alphonsa which included persons from various congregations and lay people.

Testimonies and Personal Stories: Encouraging people to share their personal faith stories and testimonies as a way to inspire and connect with others.

Follow-up and Support: Providing ongoing support and mentoring to believers, helping them integrate into the church community and continue their spiritual journey.

Prayer Initiatives: Organizing prayer groups and prayer events focused on seeking God’s guidance and blessing for evangelistic efforts and for those who have yet to hear the Gospel.

Interfaith Dialogue & Counselling: Engaging in respectful conversations with people of other faiths or no faith, promoting understanding while sharing the Christian perspective.

The Evangelization Ministry aims to fulfill the Great Commission, making disciples of all nations and bringing people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through various creative and compassionate approaches.
